why the project exists

many analytics services became too heavy for a regular website owner. webmetr intentionally keeps the first layer simple: domain, html code, pageviews, visitors, sources and stable report pages.

every important report has its own url. if statistics are public, the page can be opened, saved and shared without signing in to a dashboard.
